YOU MAY BE LOSING TOO MUCH SALT - Salt or potassium shortages are common in the first stages of the diet. Eat salty foods & take potassium supplements.
YOU MAY BE DRINKING TOO MUCH COFFEE OR TEA - Coffee, cola & tea stimulate release of insulin with a temporary lift in energy followed by hunger, fatigue & slower weight loss.
LAST MONTH'S DIET PILLS MAY BE SLOWING YOU DOWN - Sometimes it isn't what you are taking but what you were taking that slows you down.
Understand that there are no exceptions. No just a bites, just a sips. You won't be able to get any kind of real reading if you don't have untainted data to work with.
24 HOUR WATER FAST. Eat nothing and drink nothing but water for 24 hours. I recommend from noon to noon. Drink lots of water. This step, if you've never tried it, is easier than you think. You will lose weight doing this. It is not permanent weight loss. It will come back, fully if you go off plan or hit an intolerance food, partially just moving onto safe foods.
take vitamin C pills
Take your temperature. Is it really low? Your body may have adjusted your metabolism to fit the reduced calories. It takes calories to keep your body at 98.6.
Try taking cayenne supplements. This will raise your temp back up - thus burning more calories each day. For me, one cayenne pill will raise my temp two degrees for a coupla hours. This feels pretty good in the winter. My stomach is a bit sensitive, and I haven't experienced any problems with the cayenne as long as I take it with a touch of food.
